The CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued guidance to accelerate development of new-type productive forces, calling for faster deployment of smart-connected NEVs, AI-enabled smartphones and PCs, humanoid robots and other next-generation intelligent terminal applications. Hong Kong-listed NEV names rose on the news: Leapmotor (09863.HK) up over 6%, with Geely Automobile (00175.HK), NIO-SW (09866.HK), XPeng (09868.HK), SERES (09927.HK), BYD Co. (01211.HK) and Li Auto (02015.HK) also higher.
